Google's #ProjectAra kickstarts an era of modular devices

Last year at CES 2014, we predicted that devices of the future could function more like LEGO bricks. With Google's recent announcement of Project Ara, a modular smartphone prototype, it seems like we're one step closer to modular electronic devices going mainstream.
